Today’s post is a bit of a different one from me, there won’t be any top picks or temptations of items to buy (a relief, I know!) Christmas just happened a few weeks ago and if you’re anything like me, you’re not wanting to slow down on buying lovely things, but you don’t exactly have a lot of spare cash to spend!
So I’ve rounded up my top online shopping tips…
💰 Take advantage of yearly delivery subscriptions. ASOS, Boohoo, PrettyLittleThing & New Look all offer unlimited next day delivery for a whole year for £8.99 – £9.99. If you consider that this works out at less than £1 a month, it’s a fab deal!💰 Fill your basket, but leave the site without checking out. Some websites will send you a discount code to ensure you check out. I know that Boohoo definitely do this and send a 15% discount code, win!
💰 I use the app ‘Mallzee‘ to find new brands, and they have an ace notification system where they let you know when something you like goes on sale. I’ve grabbed myself many a bargain through Mallzee.
💰 Before buying anything, always Google the brand with ‘discount code‘ afterwards. Loads of brands work with affiliates such as voucher code websites so you can usually find at least a 10% discount.
💰 Try buying/selling apps such as Vinted or Depop. If second hand clothing isn’t your thing, don’t worry! Loads of people sell items that are new with tags that they just never got around to wearing (I for one am super guilty of this).
💰 My last tip is more of a cheeky request: If you find out any great discount codes, share them in the BMS group!
If you have any great tips for snagging a bargain, please feel free to comment!
Happy bargain hunting Stylists!
